DGA Statement on New Jersey Republican Primary
Tonight, DGA Executive Director Elisabeth Pearson released the following statement on Kim Guadagno’s primary victory in New Jersey:
“A vote for Kim Guadagno is a vote for a third term for Chris Christie,” said Pearson. “The Christie-Guadagno record was a disaster for New Jersey: A ballooning budget deficit, a collapsing transportation system, 11 credit downgrades and 7 vetoes of Planned Parenthood funding. New Jersey residents have paid the price for the Christie-Guadagno disaster. When voters elect Phil Murphy in November, New Jersey voters will send a clear message to Chris Christie and Donald Trump that their policies are wrong for New Jersey.”
