DGA Releases New Video: “Delivering for Louisiana”

Today, the Democratic Governors Association released a new video, “Delivering for Louisiana.” The video highlights Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards’ leadership during the state’s recently concluded legislative session.
The session marked a notable departure from the failed Jindal era where higher education was cut more than any other state in the country since the Great Recession.
The state had many “for the first time in 10 years” accomplishments including increasing teacher pay, higher education funding and preschool funding under Edwards’ leadership. The session also included $700 million in infrastructure improvements—the largest infrastructure spending plan in 30 years in Louisiana. It’s clear: Gov. Edwards is delivering for Louisiana.
“John Bel Edwards has turned Louisiana around from the failed Jindal era,” said DGA Executive Director Noam Lee. “With several first in a decade investments this past legislative session, Louisiana is moving in the right direction. Louisiana is ready to move forward and reward John Bel Edwards’ leadership with four more years.”
