Tonight, DGA Chair Jay Inslee released the following statement on Oregon Governor Kate Brown’s nomination for reelection:

“I congratulate my friend Governor Kate Brown on earning the Democratic nomination for governor and look forward to continuing to work with her to move our states and country forward,” said Inslee. “In Oregon, Governor Brown has led the way to improving education, growing an economy that works for working families, and protecting the state’s environment and public lands for generations to come.  And she’s stood up to the dangerous agenda coming from the Trump White House on issues from healthcare to offshore drilling. But Governor Brown’s work isn’t done yet. That’s why Oregonians will to vote this November to give her another term to continue making progress and getting things done on their behalf.”
