What They’re Saying About Dan Forest’s Inflammatory Anti-Diversity Tirade

Latest News

Over the Fourth of July weekend, national and North Carolina newspapers, editorial boards, and blogs denounced North Carolina GOP candidate for governor and current Lieutenant Governor Dan Forest’s inflammatory remarks disparaging diversity.
In a recent sermon at Cornerstone Church, Forest stated, “No other nation, my friends, has ever survived the diversity and multiculturalism that America faces today.”
As Americans everywhere gathered with friends and family to celebrate 243 years of the many contributing cultures and identities that have enriched the country, Forest suggested the exact opposite: diversity weakens America.
