Today at 6PM, Maine turns the page on eight years of failed policies as Janet Mills is sworn in to become the first woman governor of the state.
Mills is part of a record-setting 2018 class of six Democratic women governors. Governors Michelle Lujan Grisham (NM), Gretchen Whitmer (MI), and Gina Raimondo (RI) were inaugurated on January 1. Governor-elect Laura Kelly (KS) and Gov. Kate Brown (OR) will hold inaugurations in the coming days.
