In Michigan, the Republican primary is becoming a nasty family feud as Republican kingmakers, the DeVos family, split their allegiances between Lt. Governor Brian Calley and Attorney General Bill Schuette. However, for Michiganders, the outcome is the same no matter who wins – middle and working class families will lose.

Whether it is taking money from public education, making it harder for students to pay back loans, and undercutting protections against sexual abuse on college campuses, Betsy DeVos and the DeVos family have argued for or implemented policies that hurt Michigan.
