DGA Statement on New Hampshire Democratic Gubernatorial Primary Results

Tonight, the Democratic Governors Association released the following statement on the results of New Hampshire’s primary election for governor:

“Congratulations to Executive Councilor Colin Van Ostern on his primary victory in New Hampshire,” said DGA Executive Director Elisabeth Pearson. “Colin Van Ostern will keep New Hampshire moving forward by supporting job creation, improving New Hampshire schools and protecting access to health care.

“Colin Van Ostern is a proven business and community leader with a record of fighting for Granite State families and a stronger economy. As Executive Councilor, Van Ostern was a leader in restoring funding for Planned Parenthood and expanding Medicaid for 50,000 residents. As a New Hampshire business leader, he knows what it takes to build an economy that gives every citizen the opportunity to succeed. We look forward to supporting Colin Van Ostern as New Hampshire’s next Democratic governor.”
