You Know You're in Trouble if You're Asking George Bush for Help
In a last-ditch effort to revive his floundering campaign, Congressman Kenny Hulshof is doing what few Republicans would dare to do. He is so desperate, he’s calling in President Bush for an emergency campaign fundraiser tonight in St. Louis. We all know that Congressman Kenny would like to import the President’s failed economic policies to Missouri, but now he’s actually importing the President himself.
Just as the national media is leaving Missouri after last night’s debate, the President is sneaking in to attempt his second bailout of the day. It must have taken him a while to find a Republican candidate willing to stand with him. After all, North Carolina gubernatorial candidate Pat McCrory was the only candidate for Governor in the country for whom President Bush campaigned… until now.
Take a look at the invitation to the $25k-per-couple event.
