News Flash: Dino Dodges Again
Surprising no one, Republican Dino Rossi, the candidate who has gone 170 days since introducing his own policy proposal, once again dodged questions about where he stands on an issue important to Washington voters. The most recent case of Dino’s patented bob-and-weave came in response to a question about the bailout.
The Olympian characterized is as such:
“Rossi flat out failed to answer the question. Instead, Rossi used his time to say the country and state face a financial crisis and that Gregoire ‘outspent Mike Lowry,’ the former Democratic governor in 1993-97. He also said the state’s business climate needs to improve and asserted he has a plan for turning Washington into ‘an entrepreneurial state.’”
What Rossi either does not understand, or perhaps understands all too well, is that governing is not just about raising money for the BIAW, it is about making tough decisions on a daily basis.
