Baldacci Ensures Health Screenings for Troops
Gov. John Baldacci signed into law a bill to ensure better health screening for Maine soldiers. The new law creates a commission to review preventive health treatment practices, vaccinations and other medications given to members of the Maine National Guard. Gov. Baldacci also signed into law legislation designed to deter people from protesting at funerals in Maine. Read more
